Important Notes
- Applications for a Singapore visa can only be submitted within 30 days prior to your intended entry into Singapore.
- Possession of a Singapore visa does not automatically guarantee entry; final decision is made by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at the checkpoint.
- The period of stay is determined by the Visit Pass (e-Pass) issued upon entry.
- As of March 11, 2022, e-Pass notifications are sent digitally via email; no passport endorsement is given.
Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC)
- SGAC must be submitted within 3 days before arrival (including the day of arrival).
- Free of charge and can be submitted online.
- Not required for those transiting without immigration clearance, Singapore citizens, PRs, and Long-Term Pass Holders entering via land checkpoints.
Singapore Visa Requirements (General)
- Applicants from certain countries must submit additional documents such as a salary certificate, self-introduction letter (for partners/investors), and proof of income.
- Pre-approval is required for applicants with refugee travel documents, medical travelers, and minors traveling alone.
- Valid UAE residence visa with at least 6 months validity is required.
Exemptions & Special Rules
- Saudi nationals (as of June 1, 2023) do not need a visa to enter Singapore.
- PRC ordinary passport holders (as of February 9, 2024) are exempt from visa requirements for stays up to 30 days.
- Jordan nationals (as of July 1, 2024) are no longer required to submit a Letter of Introduction (LOI) unless requested.
Pre-Approval Procedures
- Interview with visa officer is required for pre-approval cases.
- Applicant must have a valid 6-month residence visa/permit from the country of the travel document.
- Specific requirements will be communicated after approval.
